We’ve followed these principles diligently as we’ve recruited across industries and continents over the past 25 years. Get to know a little more about our leaders and their backgrounds below.
For 25 years Jim learned and acquired his unique global recruiting skills in Recruiting and HR leadership positions at The Sherwin-Williams Company, Hallmark Cards, Alcon Laboratories, Adria Laboratories, Cole Vision Corporation, and Life Line Screening.
He founded Kuhn Global Talent, LLC in 2011 and has built a trusted team of 11 candidate sourcing professionals in the Americas, the UK, the EU, China and India. Jim has done extensive work in the Americas, China, India, the UK, Australia, and Europe in starting and building businesses through talent acquisition and management.
Jim is directly engaged on all retained searches for leadership, commercial, and technical positions in all practice areas. His credibility and effectiveness are based upon the fact that he has traveled to and spent significant time in so many countries outside the US, and has about 30 years of corporate HR experience.
Jim Kuhn’s education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Kenyon College, and a Master’s degree in HR from The Ohio State University.
Beth’s broad skills in communications along with her precise and passionate research acumen enable her to be a highly effective candidate sourcing professional.

Beth has a background and exposure in the health and wellness industries, along with exposure to global business and human resources management in the health and wellness, manufacturing, consumer products, retail, and specialty chemicals sectors. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.

ALEX ZALESKY
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Alex and Jim first started working together in 2004 when Alex was President of Sherwin-William’s International Division and Jim reported to him as VP of HR. In his subsequent leadership roles at Ingevity and Amcor Flexibles Alex retained Kuhn Global Talent to recruit over commercial, technical, and operational positions in the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific regions.
Alex owns and operates AZ Global Consultants, a consulting firm with the primary objective of helping its clients achieve maximum profitable growth. He accomplishes this by developing a deep understanding of a client’s business, customers and markets they serve, followed by strategy, talent, key processes and cultural assessments. Driven by a strong sense of urgency, short and mid-term executable initiatives are developed while positioning businesses for longer term opportunities. Backed by years of full P&L experience working with Eastman Chemicals, Sherwin Williams, Ingevity and Amcor, to boards/consulting projects, Alex’s focus is broad, from specialty chemicals, coatings and packaging segments and industry services, to working with private, private equity owned assets as well as multinational companies.

Alex is a strategic, mission-driven executive with a track record of creating and transforming business platforms for profitable growth. In addition to his full P&L and segment expertise, Alex has significant experience enhancing sales opportunities across various channels to market, including B2B, B2C, retail and direct or third-party distribution. He is passionate about helping clients build winning teams to develop and execute differentiating strategic plans. Alex earned his MBA from the Sloan School of Business, MIT and his BS, Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University.

Karen is a savvy and passionate Talent Acquisition consultant with successful organizational transformation, recruiting fulfillment, diversity hiring, and business development experience across multidisciplinary fields of industries and functions in Asia, North America and Europe. She has successfully initiated and accomplished executive recruiting programs, diversity and inclusion recruiting programs, global centralized recruiting programs, artificial intelligence powered sourcing, career coaching, cost saving programs, evaluation and implementation of metrics, process improvement initiatives, training of recruiting processes and interview techniques.
Since relocating from Shanghai, China to the US in 2013, Jim has helped Karen assimilate into the US business community so that she could excel in talent acquisition leadership positions at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., Babcock & Wilcox, and Swagelok.
Karen earned her BA in Pharmacognosy and Literature from China Pharmaceutical University and received certificates in Strategic Human Resources Leadership and Social Media in Human Resources from Cornell University. Karen leverages her broad recruiting and HR expertise across geography, industry, and culture to expand her clients’ access to diverse executive talent.
